Sales Policy/Guidelines Est. 1995
1. Glory Acres Rabbit Tree has the right to decline a sale to anyone we so choose or cancel any pending sale for any reason. If you have made any payments and we cancel the sale, this is the only time you will receive a refund. Once you have paid for the animal and picked it up, it is completely yours. 2. All rabbits are in good health @ the time of the sale. No matter whom you buy rabbits from, we suggest you always quarantin rabbits for 14 days before introducing them into your herd or showing them. I offer a 7 day guarantee on our rabbits, if it dies within 7 days of your purchasing the rabbit I will replace it, however if it's past the 7 days we are not obligated to do so. 3. WE DO NOT OFFER STUD SERVICE. This prevents the spread of venereal diseases. Now if a 4-Her is purchasing a doe from us and needs it bred, I will bred it to our bucks, HOWEVER, I will not breed to does not in our herd. 4. We do ship multiple animals (when weather permits). Arrangements and all costs (gas, carrier, bowls, shipping, health certificates etc. ) are the responsibility of the buyer. 5. If you are interested in a rabbit but cannot pick it up right away, I will hold a rabbit for you w/o a deposit for no longer then 1 week, pending we have made arrangements as to when you will pick it up. A deposit,of @ least 50% or payment in full, may be required to hold rabbits for longer then a week. After three weeks, if you have not picked up the animal, we will resale the animal and you will lose the deposit, OR you can pay a fee of $1.00 per day to cover food & board on that rabbit. This fee will be applied on the 22nd day, and will be charged until the rabbit is picked up and paid in full. This does not apply to situations where we arrange a later date to pick up the animal (i.e. national convention pickup, or specific shows). 6. If you ever decide to sell a rabbit that you have purchased from us, we would appreciate for you to offer it back to us to buy from you first. Then if we do not want to buy it, you can sell it to whomever. We cannot enforce this, it is simply an honor issue. 7. We check every animal thoroughly for any disqualifications or problems. We sincerely believe in being honest with this hobby. Unfortunately though, to err is human. We may miss something, so you are responsible to check over the rabbit as well. 8. Prices on jrs. are subject to change as they develop. 9. Persons on waiting lists have priority. 10. I do often have a waiting list for buyers. Please fill out the below form. We will get back to you shortly and let you know what we have available at the time or what the wait may be. 11. The waiting list by no means obligates you to buy an animal. It simply allows you to be notified when we have something available. We notify people in the order in which we receive the inquires. 12. If someone else is picking up rabbits for you @ a show, be prepared to have them show us ID and sign for them. 13. Each rabbit sold comes with a life time support of Glory Acres Rabbit Tree. Questions, concerns, or any help needed can be received by phone or email. No calls after 9 p.m. please ! 14. I do accept Paypal, Visa, Mastercard, American Express & Discover however there is a 5% fee added to the cost of the rabbit to cover the fees I am charged by my merchant account. Deposits can be made with personal check, HOWEVER final payment must be cash, credit card, or money order. There is a $25.00 fee in the event a check is returned for non sufficient funds. Some of these policies are very easy to enforce, while others are simply followed on the honor system. These policies had to be created for everyone because of the poor judgement and actions of a few people in the past. We rarely ever have a problem, though as most people in the rabbit industry are honest and easy to deal with. Please feel free to print this policy out for future reference. |
